Zorba – a memory for life

Greek dance is the specialty of the Zorbas dance group. The dance group entertains with Greek dance for, among other things, weddings, Greek Christmas parties, company parties, birthdays, nursing homes, festivals, etc. where the entertainment is top-notch and your guests will have a memory they will never forget. Guests are even allowed to swing their legs to a lot of fun dances. from the beautiful Greek islands but also from the mainland.

The Zorba dance that the guests learn is a simple choreographic version, so everyone can learn it in a short time. If you are interested in learning the full version, you can start to Greek dance.

Greek dance for small and large parties

You can choose anything between 2-10 dancers for your party. If you have over 40 guests, we recommend between 3 and 6 dancers. If you are a smaller group, we recommend 2 dancers or 1 dance instructor. For example, the dance instructor will teach the guests fun and beautiful Greek dances for an hour, including the “plate-breaking dance” Zeibekiko and Zorba dance, which is one of the most fun dances, where the guests can break free and combine what they have learned with their own dance style. Greek food, greek wine, greek flags and greek music can also be provided.

A little history of Greek dance and music

Greek dance and music have always had a great importance for the Greeks. In Greece, Greek dance has been danced for many hundreds of years and Greek dance is always danced at all events. There are over 1000 Greek dances, but it is mostly the typical Greek folk dances/folk songs, also called dimotika, that are danced throughout Greece.
